A friend when I was a kid, his mom made hot dog soup.
It was great. Hot dogs cut into little pieces diced. I remember corn, and it was in a cream base. Oh! potatoes in it also!.

Tried a new chicken enchilada recipe with a white/green chile sauce. It was good. I didn't think it was going to be because I tasted the sauce before I put it on the enchiladas. It was meh but it changed when it was heated in the oven. I had 2 bites and have had to take a Pepcid pill.

Looks so tasty to me Barb. And for a change, the meat doesnt fly. I'd sit down to that in a heartbeat! LOL
BTW... do you toast the sesame seeds??
The reason I ask, is yesterday when I made the Minestra and beans, I toasted the fennel seeds. They really seasoned better. And yes, I like the fennel seeds, but I will not eat the fennel plant. I guess because I grew up eating fennel seeds, that was enough for the flavor. And to think, I hate licorice!
Tina would not eat the minestra, and she loves licorice!.

I do not use seeds that much in anything.I used them on a whim lol.
I had to go outside to get my mail on the sly. Ms Kat is trying her best to get out.Goes from the front door to the slider to the window.So I had to go in the backyard to my freezer on the patio from the gate lol I took out a whole chicken. Roast or boil it for soup???? IDK..Maybe chicken & rice something?

Roast....then eat some...then chicken salad for sandwiches...then soup with the carcass. ... 3 in one chicken meals.
So you kill three birds with one pot!

I and I Alone, am having two Johnsonville Spicy Hot Brats.
Got them cooking on the stovetop with onions and peppers Nice and slow.
We have split top hot dog rolls, and I will garnish it / them with the onions and peppers, and some delicious Sauerkraut that Tina got at the German butcher Shoppe the other day.
Some white kidney beans on the side that were left over from when I made the Minestra the other day.
Gabe is gonna have salmon and his tater tots (sweet potato ones) and probably beans.
Tina?... that's yet to be determined what she will want for supper.

Gosh, it's been YEARS since I've had Egg Foo Young....nice 'punt', Barb!
I did a variation on my BLT Pasta....Chicken BLT Pasta. I thought maybe Dane would like it better if I added some pieces of chicken breast to 'meat-it-up' for him. It was really tasty.

For dinner... Tina wants Kielbasi.
I want nice tuna salad sandwiches WITH Celery and onion and mayo. Tina doesn't believe tuna salad should have celery in it.
I will surprise her (shes up at the church) while she is not here today, and make her a small batch of Potato Salad.

we hosted Rosary prayer for about 30 persons last Wednesday night, I made a big pot of Egg Drop soup... and now we are still eating the leftover, mostly for light supper

I made potato salad for Tina and whomever.
Tuna salad is done with mayo for T & me, and with olive oil for Gabe.... He has the thought in his head about mayo poisoning people at outdoor BBQ's etc. So, he won'T eat it!

I have a small lamb roast in the oven for me. Nice big salad to go with it.
Both sons are coming tomorrow morning to install some shelves etc., so I'll be making two meatloaves so they each get to take one home. They like my meatloaf.
