Sure you can use fresh clams but if you do you probably need to use a couple bottles of clam juice.

I was looking through Sunday's coupons and saw one for dried SPAM snack bites. I can't think of anything worse but I know many people love SPAM.
Tonight is roasted asparagus lasagna and garlic bread.

The only way I ever ate spam, was when my MIL made a meatloaf using spam and ground veal. Then she glazed it with apricots.
It reminded me of Dutch Loaf.

I have no clue what (I) will have.
Tina can only have what is on a restricted diet and list of the foods to build up the flora in her intestines.
I could go for a steak on the grill, but it's too cold out and the grill is not connected to the gas line.
Had to remove it when the siding was installed.
Maybe I can broil a steak in the toaster oven. Hmmm! let me think about that.

There are some over-the-counter pills that my doctor gave me for building up the flora in my gut. Activia is another one.

We have that pro-biotics but the Dr didn't say to use it. Maybe because of the removing and reconnecting? Also. maybe so the body itself builds the flora slowly?

She does eat that, and we have all the ones she likes, but for the 14 day's post op. They have only the foods allowed.
Basically, she has to start out basically, like a baby.
Farina ... canned peaches / pears .... no tomato/ no ketchup / no whole grain breads.... nothing with slow digesting fiber. Like salad greens etc. take a long time going through till elimination, and they don't want heavy activity in the colon right now, until the re-connection point heals.

Growing up in Pennsylvania in an Italian neighborhood, yogurt was never heard of, nor was balsamic vinegar. It was white vinegar, or wine vinegar.
Maybe because we were of the poorer class of Italian. Calabrian! Lol

I picked up a small steak to make a steak salad for our supper. Gives me my steak and he can pick around for his salad. Happy. Happy.

Well...I'll be dipped in splat!...LOL... I just now added a grill brush on my list of stuff to bring up from the garage and utility room. Then. I heard the ding on the computer that notifies when mail comes into the in-box.

Tina had mashed potatoes with gravy; asparagus soft just the tips of the spears, and a vanilla cookie and sugar cream filling. Coffee! ....
I helped her in the shower, and she was very weak. She said she was gonna pass out. I told her, please don't do that, or I will have to call the police to help pick you up!
