We spent all day switching bedrooms. Now they get the attached bathroom with two sinks and separate shower/toilet and I get a bedroom/sitting room down stairs with a bath next door. We ordered Chinese for dinner.

I ate a sausage sub sandwich for supper, from Franks Restaurant. Well, the insides and not the bread.
It was awful. The sausage was like sliced breakfast sausage tasting. yuck. The cheese waS scant, and the sauce was over spiced with bay leaf, and I could taste sugar in the sauce.
I gave up 1/2 of it to the animal feed pit.

In the end I am going to have a smaller bedroom, smaller bathroom and slightly bigger office space. If they decide to have a kid, there will be two bedrooms in addition to theirs on the same floor.

At first he didn't want any kids. She did. Then he said he would think about it. Now I think they are going to plan for some kids. Getting the 'adult' bedroom was a step in that direction. They are talking about taking over the house payments too.

We've been invited to one of the neighbors' for a cook-out this evening so no cooking here! She didn't want me to bring anything but I cannot go empty-handed....just doesn't seem right. So I'm making some mini-apple rose pastries. She can have them for her breakfast tomorrow morning.

I roasted a duck, Chinese style, it was so good, with peach sauce ( the only fruit jam in my fridge )
I made some mashed potato with spinach for Dirk, I ate mine with steamed rice

Imelda, your duck looks fabulous! I don't think Dirk is going to let you go away any time soon......he's got to be loving having you cook wonderful meals for him again.
