Picture isn't very good but it is cod poached in wine with shallots, mushrooms and coconut milk. We had it with peas, cornbread and hash browns.

We had a chuck roast, crusty new potatoes and crusty carrots with a mushroom/onion gravy. Tasty but I almost choked on it. My roomie shared a YouTube video while we were eating. I almost fell off my chair. Some guy was wearing a headless costume and driving through fast food windows to see what the reaction would be. I thought it was hilarious. We had shells macaroni with fried onions and kidney beans. No tomato sauce.

The shells and beans.... just like pop corn. Couldn't stop eating them one by one.

Some people have a very interesting and unique way of expressing themselves. One girl on the video said "It scared the lices out of me". Never ever heard that one before. So funny!

It's like Honey, Who shrunk the kids....
3 Dogs = i small steak
3 buns (all puffed with air ) are = to 2 --1'' thick slices of Italian bead.
So really... a well balanced meal for one. The condiments = tbs of pickles.

Neighbor went to Trenton, NJ today, and brought us back a huge thin crust Bruschetta.
We had a slice or two of that.... then after we burped, I had minestra and some cookies.
Tina had some chicken she got from the BBQ spit at Sams Club. I will say, I sliced it for her and Gabe, and it was well well cooked. I sliced some slivers of dark meat on the crispy leg, and tried it.
Not Bad!!!.....

I didn't take pics of tonight's supper....haluski (or is it halusky?)......browned smoked sausage with cabbage & onion and then the addition of cooked egg noodles.
I'll be leaving to go babysit for a couple weeks so I might not be around. I have no idea if DD#2 will be leaving a computer available to me. So, if you don't hear from me, don't worry.
I shall return.....

I was chopping leaves and cutting the grass this afternoon. The morning and yesterday was programming the engine management system on Gabes Car. P I T A Big Time. Finally did it right after 3 attempts. Grrrrrrr!!!
At least no more check engine lite, and it runs smooth as silk.... Plus he saved 500.00 + by not having the dealer mess with it.
Now we can sell it!....
Tina made stuffed peppers for supper. Great the way she put cubes of asiago and provolone sharp cheese on top.
When she baked the peppers in the toaster oven, the cubes didn't melt, but the outsides browned into crispy crunchy cheese squares. OMG,like a treat. .......... Would be great as a cheese with wine tasting / drinking.
She made a banana cake for dessert.

I found the best way to make stuffed peppers.4 whole one fit just right in a medium size sauce pan.I even throw the top in the sides.I layer them up with meat and or rice or not lol cheese & sauce.Cover with sauce.Lid on & low simmer ,maybe 20 minutes. I add more cheese to melt on top. easy & no extra pans to wash..

Good idea Barb....
It's like Tina, when she makes halupki (stuffed cabbages)....she either does them covered in the oven, or on the stove top.
I like them in the oven, because I remove the foil on mine (the green leaves) and it browns the cabbage. Ummmmm!!!

No cooking today. The kids were gone at lunchtime and will be going out again tonight so I got some Croissants, Deli cold cuts and cheeses, potato salad and Panera soups (Potato and tomato) so everyone can have whatever whenever. There is enough for tomorrow too.

Just came in from outside battling leaves with the new Blower I got for my birthday Wednesday! The Big Seven Zero! hahahahaha
Here, in my town, we are allowed to blow the leaves onto the curb on the street.
Now it is so windy... they all blew back into the yard. Grrrrr!
Well, at least I got to play with the new Toy!...
