The little peach pie was one I made when our neighbor brought me a bunch of 'in-season' Georgia peaches. I left it in the little 4" pie pan, wrapped in plastic and then in HD foil and froze it soon after I baked it. I let it thaw in the refrigerator for a couple days and then, tonight, while we were eating supper, I took it out of the foil pan and placed it on a plate and into the turned-off oven I had heated to bake the potatoes.
By the time it was time for dessert it was warm enough to taste like fresh baked peach pie. I'm really glad I've been hoarding that little pie in the freezer all these months so I could give it to him today.
