I could envision Scrambled eggs and cheese, with some Breakfast Pork Sausages..... Haven't Had Eggs in Weeks.

Some Hot Cakes with butter and syrup too would top off those eggs!

They were just ShopRite (food market NJ based)wide noodles.

The cheese filled tortellini were Rosa Brand ???

Again, thank you Norm. Tina said it was tasty, because she cooked it simple....

Breakfast was at 11, and Tina bought egg / ham / and cheese on a bagel for me. Now, they give two eggs on the sandwich, and I don't know why. Tina just took the extra egg off, and made herself a egg sandwich with Ketchup! Yuck! Hey, she likes it!

I don't use ketchup but I do lay on the Tabasco! Brian got into doing it many years ago, too, but about a year ago, he picked up some Louisiana Hot Sauce (a local hot sauce that's been around longer than I have, which is not nearly as hot as Tabasco). Occasionally, I use that instead as the flavor is really good and you can use even more of the stuff.

A slight variation on ketchup, I guess...

That's like last night, for a snack, tina boiled some frozen "Rosa" brand frozen meat ravioli. I had like 10 ( they are small ) and tina had three!
She loaded them with butter, and I used hot sauce packets from like taco bell.
Ummmm....they were so good. Just enough heat!

As I was pouring it on half of a warm fried shrimp poor boy earlier today, I realized the sauce he got me into is Crystal Hot Sauce, not LHS.

I've been losing weight (too much weight) but I sure attacked that half a sandwich!  (I find it very difficult to eat when I'm in really bad pain so periodically, I really start dropping the pounds).  Every once in a while, something really appeals to me and it's great when it's something both delicious and a bit caloric.  This place puts sooo many shrimp on the sandwich that they're falling out all over.  Yum!  It's a neighborhood convenient store that is pretty well known for their poor boys and sandwiches -- and they're reasonably priced.  Really, they're better than that as they're downright cheap.  My 8-inch shrimp poor boy was $5.49 and it had tons of medium fried shrimp, so much so that they start falling out the sides of the French bread when you open it up.  I think the 16-inch shrimp is $9.95!

Tina picked me up a plain bagel. I had that with half veggie cream cheese, and the other half with lox & cream cheese.

That looked delicious, Barb.

You know, it's funny.  When yogurt was all the rage years ago, I bought this yogurt strainer -- a Donvier Wave Yogurt Strainer.  I would strain my plain yogurt (unbeknownst to me at the time, this pretty much was Greek yogurt, or at least had the texture and taste of it to me) and use it in place of sour cream and in an attempt to cut down on the cream sauces by using it in sauces.

Then a couple of months ago, I dug it out and strained my plain Greek yogurt.  The BEST thing about that was that the result is the texture of cream cheese so I can use it instead of or as part of cream cheese in a recipe.  It's great to add to some spinach to make it creamy or with some grated parm or Romano prior to baking and/or broiling it in a shallow baking dish.

Does anyone strain their yogurt?  I might be the only one who bought this gadget to do so but I like it 'cause the strainer strains in its own container with a top so it's easy for me to pop in the fridge for straining.

Your pretty breakfast made me think of the yogurt cheese, as that would be good smeared on the bread as well.

Yes and it is a mess. Boy I need one of those.Going to look it up.I make my own yogurt ,used to do it every 2 weeks but now it is once a month.lol.Plus I am ashamed to say I throw out the whey. I do not know what to do with it.???
