Thanks, Beth. I'm dying to do this for Brian -- he'd go WILD! Always have a couple of pounds of bacon in the fridge and a couple of pounds of backup bacon in the freezer. 'Cause you can't have too much bacon, you know?
And I've always got a couple of half-pint jars of bacon grease in one of the vegetable drawers in the fridge. Just sitting there waiting for a spoonful or two to be taken out or a lot to make a roux for a big pot of gumbo!
