Just a friendly warning....about tomorrow morning. Don't mean to be gross.....

but beware what that cauliflower puree will do to your ....ah, digestive system.

I tried making mashed cauliflower in lieu of mashed potatoes when Dane first decided he wanted to cut carbs out of his diet. It was a shock to our system, to be sure. I wasn't expecting to have to stay close to home for the first half of the next day.....

It was tasty, just had some side effects we were not aware of.

Whatever is cheapest....rarely national brands. Last one I had was Kroger brand and I added additional ancho and aleppo pepper to it.

My daughter this morning was telling us there is a recipe she has for pizza crust, utilizing mashed cauliflower eggs etc.
She said they work out better, when the pizza is a smaller diameter size

You will not like it..I made it ONCE. it is far from pizza..I threw it out..

I had bacon wrapped pork tenderloin baked in the oven, a baked potato and fresh green and yellow beans. Yumm.

We had leftover sausage and peppers in a delicious tomato sauce. Made by DD.
I had two thin sliced pieces of whole wheat bread. NO Butter!
Two coconut bars for dessert. For me.

The ingredients in the chermoula look interesting....although, I've already subbed parsley for the (ugh!) cilantro in my head. I think it would be really tasty on a mild fish, any cod available should certainly work just fine.

Be interested in hearing your critique of it....

Again, whatever is least expensive....usually a local or store brand. Of course, I'm purchasing braunschwieger instead of the smaller diameter roll of liverwurst.

Breakfast sausage is generally Jimmy Dean Spicy or Tennessee Spicy. Do NOT like Bob Evans brand because it always seems to have either bone fragments or tooth-cracking hard cartilige in the grind.

My favorite brand of breakfast sausage is Bob Evan but lately it hasn't tasted as good as it used to.

I was just at HyVee and here are the Braunschweiger brands they have. They do have Oscar Mayer. I have tried Frick's and it's good. Another store has Boar's Head which is good too. Frankly most of them all taste pretty much the same to me. I have had some kind that was in a can that was not good though.

Something I learned when I lived near a meat processing plant in the town I lived in last: if the packaging is the same between two or more different brands, it all probably is exactly the same, made at the same place but just had a different label put on it before they shipped it out.

yup...same stuff, different label. Since you can see the product, you can see it looks virtually the exact same as far as color, texture, etc. That's why I go for what's on sale or the store brand.

Norm, have you ever tried "Jones' Brand Pork sausage. They make tube to slice or dig your own, or sliced and frozen, and also the little links. I like the links in the casing as opposed to the brown and serve ones.
Maybe You don't get that brand??.....

That's not a brand that's available here, either.....

I tried to log into my photobucket account and it won't let me. Want's me to sign in using Facebook and attach my friends list, etc. Ain't gonna happen.

So, close your eyes and picture two crispy (hard) taco shells with taco meat, lettuce, onion, tomato & sour cream on a white plate.

That was supper.
