Fry it up as a burger. If you season it enough and get a nice brown crust on it they are actually not bad. It also hides pretty well in a pot of spaghetti sauce.

Like Tina....she hated touching liver. Her boss knew it, so he would always delve her the job of cutting and packaging it.
Oh! and tripe too. She couldn't stand the smell. June, 2016 * * Dinners We Fixed - Page 5 2363720550

DD wanted turkey sausage once. I mixed it with the seasonings, and used a hand stuffing cone. What a heck of a time. The meat was like it had vaseline mixed in with it. I had to add a little bread crumbs to just be able to force it into the funnel of the stuffing cone. Evil or Very Mad

They make turkey ham, turkey bologna, turkey bacon and almost everything else. What I don't understand is why none of the stuff tastes like ham or sausage or bologna or bacon. It doesn't even taste like turkey!

Roomie is out getting Juviderm, Botox and whatever. Then it is off to the dentist for teeth whitening. She is going to a Playboy Bunny reunion this weekend. I am not sure what is for dinner tonight. Maybe bbq chicken pizza.

I ran across this video on my news feed this morning. What will they think of next?
Scroll down to see the video. I know my friend who had 5 children could have used this 25 years ago.

DD#1 gave me this recipe a long time ago. Pan fried and re-heatable in the microwave. Pretty good taste.

Turkey Burgers (makes 4 large patties)
From Andrea

19 oz. ground turkey breast (99% fat free)
1/3 c. Panko bread crumbs (smashed a bit to break down smaller)
3/4 c. low-fat buttermilk
2 T. green onions, chopped fine (or minced sweet onion)
3 T. parsley, chopped (fresh, not dried)
1 t. dijon mustard
1/2 t. Worcestershire
black pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients except ground turkey and stir to combine. Add meat and combine well. Form into 4 patties and place on Saran covered plate. Place in the freezer for about 10 minutes to firm up.

Drizzle a bit of EVOO on top of each patty and spread evenly with your finger to cover. Cook in preheated non-stick skillet, turning to brown well on both sides. I added a lid after the 2nd side was lightly browned and added about 1 tsp. of water to steam a bit to be sure the turkey meat was well done. (Thermometer test to 165*)

If not eating right away, allow to cool, wrap in plastic wrap and freeze. May be reheated in the microwave (lower setting) until heated through.

Suggested condiments: mustard, dill pickle, onion slice

No, actually, it just gives the ground turkey some flavor and color, especially the worchestershire sauce. The buttermilk and panko gives the meat some structure so it holds together. For turkey burgers, they weren't bad ~ but I much prefer a good beefy burger instead.

I was told of a fresh fish market close by and stopped today. It is a stand-alone store, looks much like the owner built a pole barn and turned it into his seafood shop. I was happy it was clean and did not smell like fish. He had some of the largest 'local' shrimps I've seen anywhere - 6-8/lb. for $24/lb.....too expensive for an everyday meal but not horrible for a special meal sometime. That, and he had REAL fresh (not frozen) Atlantic GROUPER. It was delicious.

1 lb. of ground turkey meat (ew)
1/4 cup of chopped red bell pepper
handful of chopped kalamata olives
handful of chopped fresh dill
handful of chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
handful of chopped scallions (green onions), using the white parts too
1 tbsp of strong Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
shake of garlic powder
salt & pepper

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients together.

Got this going ..they are in the fridge..Sorry Beth I did not your recipe before now..

Oil a grill and turn it to medium high.

Grill the burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side.

Pile on a toasted English muffins and  dill mayo and cucumber slices.

Actually, your mixture sounds good to me. Turkey meat is so bland it really needs the addition of ingredients you like to flavor it. Like I mentioned earlier post....the buttermilk & panko was just to help hold it together because the fat-free variety tends to fall apart.

If you don't like it after it's cooked, consider it the supreme 'diet' meal.

LOL

We had lasagna that Ms. Tina made. Good, but with meat sauce. I don't prefer meat sauce.
Vanilla white cake with home made butter cream white icing. Good!

We ate at 6 pm, but I got side tracked, and pushed the Send button late.

Anyway.... here is the lasagna. Tina is from old school where they believe the whole pan must be double wrapped in foil. The bottom and top sealed so tight the steam cannot seep out. Her mother did that too. Even with turkey and hams.

I don't know what to fix tonight.

I just read on my news feed that Walmart is going to sell frozen deep fried Twinkies. Fair Food! I have made deep fried Twinkies. I used Emeril's recipe and they were served with a mixed berry coulis. I could drink that coulis it was so good. Naturally, I am going to have to give the fried Twinkies a try and make some coulis to go with it.
