Informative photo journal, Barb. I'm sure Imelda can gleen good info from your experience cooking lamb. I do think you are about the only one who cooks it around here.

I was rearranging the freezer and came across a package of Johnsonville beef brats....knew immediately I was going to make haluski for supper. Lawdy, I'm stuffed. But it was so good!

Browned/rendered sliced beef brats, sliced onion, shredded carrots, sliced cabbage & cooked kluski noodles.....

you would never know from looking at it, but it was loaded with veg....used half a giant head of cabbage. It just cooks down and gets translucent so you don't see it's there.

I much prefer taco salad to nachos.....my 'cheese alergy' and all.....

Looks like a good supper!

Yesterday I watched an episode on America's Test Kitchen (Norm's favorite PBS program with his buddy, Chris Kimble.....). It really interested me so I'm going to try to replicate the recipe for our supper tonight.

It's a recipe for Crispy-Skinned Chicken Breast with a Vinegar-Hot Pepper Pan Sauce. I'm going to see if I can get my chicken breast skin rendered and crispy without having the chicken dry out like cardboard. The sauce is made with canned hot cherry peppers, not something I've tried before. I happened to see them at Fresh Market so I picked up a jar.

If you're interested, here's a link to the video clip of the program. The original recipe was a restaurant meal and used a de-boned half chicken. ATK switched out the half chicken for skin-on chicken breasts, lightly pounded. We'll see if Mr. Amazing and I like the recipe tonight......

Wolfgag Sucks?..... You are so right.
He is so f a k e .... his products are cheap stupid pieces of crap.

Tina bought so much of his junk, when it would arrive, I would say, "Oh No, so again we get screwed by Wolf the duck! .... ( and I didn't mean duck )...

He is on the HSN, and every cheap thing Tina bought, we had to send back. Dinners in January, 2016 - Page 10 1297124391 .....And I don't like the way he cooks. He can bump butts with that Miles Kimbal ( Mr. My Way or the Hi Way. ) Dinners in January, 2016 - Page 10 2787578702

No sauce! ....Grrrr! All used up, but now ya got me thinking to make a batch! Haaaaa!!!

OOooooo! The TP sweet hots, we use with everything now. We are hooked on them.

Our favorite was egg salad sandwiches, with bread and butter pickle chops on the side. Although, since Tony Packos Sweet Hots came into our home, we prefer the TP's instead of the bread and butter chips with egg salad sandwiches!

I can't think of any chef with a product line that is any good. If there is one, let me know.

I found the crispy chicken breasts recipe at the Houston Chronicle. The recipe is blanked out to me at the ATK site. They want money to show it to me. I copied and saved it in my 'recipes to try' file.
