I have read that saliva causes cancer but only if swallowed in small amounts over a long period of time.

I tried to talk myself into a nice, grilled burger....but I WANTED STEAK. At least it wasn't overcooked and the seasoning I put on it was good.
As you can tell (probably) I split the one rib eye for the two of us, as well as the baked potato. The broccoli was simply steamed in the microwave for 3 minutes & got seasoned with some butter & s&p. I put together one of Grandma's 'Everyday Salads' to go along side.

Jimmy grocery stores have pork chops lol. Wish to heck we had a butcher shop here.No such thing..I get them from the window with butcher cuts not from the case...

Great meat and cold cuts. Fresh. It was the local neighborhood store before the supermarkets were born. It still is. Same old wood floor and same location. Since I started going there, it is the only place where I get my meat and chicken; and now cold cuts.
They will cut things fresh for you also. They grind their own hamburger also. When I want ground pork, all they do is take a boneless center cut chop and put it in the grinder for me. How much fresher can you get?

To tell you the truth, there is just me. I do not cook everyday. For me it is easier to just pick up something when I want it. it is better portion control.
