My DH had a friend he worked with who didn't show up for work on a Monday. The boss sent him to her house to have a loo-see because she always was at work. No answer at the door and her car was there. Had to call her daughter over with a key and they found her on the bed. Must have died on a Friday.

Yesterday I bought a loaf of French toast bread and this morning I cooked up the entire thing using an old CI recipe and froze it. All I have to do it pull out a slice and nuke it. The only frozen French toast in the stores is cinnamon swirl and I think it tastes like chit, so I make my own. So much better.

This morning I was up at 5:30, and on the computer checking stuff.
6:30 I went to lay down because my hip was creaking. Woke up at 9:30. WOW!!
The pain went away.... YaY!
I then made a egg fried ham and cheese on a toasted English Muffin.
It really hit the spot.

Mommy T and GD went shopping for flowers and to Walmart for stuff.
They did their own thing for breakfast.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow. Boy! I could go for 3 eggs over medium, on a warmed plate...
( hate cold eggs ). Whole grain English Muffins buttered. Bacon, and grated potatoes and onions hash browns.
I love to eat whilst it rains.

And we all know what Friday Appreciation day is , right?....
It's the day that we sit back, do nothing, and appreciate and Admire,
"ALL" the Work that was done during the week! LOL

Lunch was some salt crusted cod baked from frozen and steamed broccoli tossed with some cheese, chives and parsley. I also had some potato chips and made some not tatar sauce.

Looks great Norm. I love cod. Canned Tuna, and cod, is about the only fish I knew of when I was growing up.

Just threw 3 cans of banana bread in the oven for tomorrows breakfast.
I made them in 16 oz. tin cans from like the plain non coated cans that corn or beans come in.
I've made them before with a different recipe. I'm using a new recipe with this batch.
I just hope the batter doesn't mushroom over the top of the cans too much.

With 20 minutes to go out of 60, I smell the cake already. That doesn't sound too promising.
I will peek in five more minutes.
....pause*...... CHIT!!!!!!!!............... What a mess. Dear Lord!!! affraid

Jeeze.... I feel like one of the three stooges now! .... bounce

Actually.... I just scraped off the overflow, and the good thing, is they are loose in the cans.
I filled the batter to a little over 1/2 a can. I see now, I can use the fourth can.

So I call it "VOLCANO BANANA BREAD".... LOL

Most of the time fish other than tuna and salmon, tastes alike to me, but these were good. I made a mistake in the listing. It POTATO crusted cod, not salt crusted.

Well Jimmy, at least you had enough sense to bake them on a pan. My sister had an overflow while baking and the batter fell to the oven floor and caught on fire. The smoke, mess and damage were bad. She had to spend two days cleaning the inside of the oven and it took a week for the stink to go away.

Yeah.... I always bake on a sheet pan or one below to catch bubble overs.
The floor of the one oven has a large square baking stone that I just leave in there for pizza.

Boy! Tina was on the roll today! Supper was fried cabbage with elbows..... shepherds pies, .... and meatloaves.
She is taking stuff down to her brothers in Point Pleasant, NJ tomorrow. Plus the frozen halupki
( stuffed cabbages ).

Thanks Barb. Same here with the I phones. I just got notice I could upgrade; so Tina will get a new bigger one, 6S Plus and I get her i 5S .I have a i5 now. Too small to see stuff.

I want a 6s plus myself. Kicking myself for not getting it to begin with. I'm not thrilled about another 2 years contact.!!!

Thanks Beth. I just look in the fridge and see what needs to be used lol 6 month old pita , to soft avocado, tomatoes that needed to be used...bam .

We have been with 2 year plans with the same provider ( Verizon ) since 1985.
We have a Land Line with Comcast. It is in that triple play bargain plan.. yeah!!! $208.00 a month.

I was p'd off when the last phone Tina got was the 6s and not the plus. I said,"why didn't you get the Plus?" She said, ""THE LADY""said, "This is the biggest one we have!" ..... See!!!!! She listened to the LADY who tried to push off a phone just to get rid of a phone.
