Ever use one? I wonder if they are better than a chef's knife for mincing herbs and such.

I was given one as a gift from Tina. I used it once. Now it sits in the junk drawer. Silly piece of a utensil. I prefer the 10 inch chef's knife for chopping / dicing.

I think there's a real 'learning curve' to using one. IF you grew up watching your grandma and mom use one, then you should have no problem.

But it's a 'new-to-me' gadget that I don't need taking up valuable real estate in my drawer.

It definitely falls into the category of something that looks cool that I would never use. But you could hang it on the wall in the kitchen, I guess...
