I just saw that there is a recall of stoned fruit: peaches, nectarines, plums, plots...due to LISTERIA

Stores involved are widespread:
Costco
Sam's Cliub
BJ's
Trader Joes
and other stores!!

The company is WAWONA from California.

packed from 7-1 to 7-19

Please check your fruit.
I would either throw them away or return to store!

Wouldn't you know, I have 4 white peaches, 6 nectarines and 4 pluots which are sitting on my counter!!  affraid

That is why I buy from my local farmers.Or at best try too.Nothing worse the hard tasteless fruit from CA when you live east coast.

Last time I bought red peppers I looked at the sticky label. RECALL of STONED FRUIT 2876911673 They came from Canada.

I've got a bunch of peaches, but I got mine from Adcock growers in Georgia on our trip here. Super juicy and sweet. But, as usual, I got too many. The last 8 or 9 I need to peel, slice, sprinkle with Fruit Fresh and freeze. Otherwise they are going to go to waste.

Somewhere else I saw a blurb about Trader Joe's alerting customers about the fruit.

I wonder how many markets/stores go out of their way to let customers know about potentially dangerous products or if they just pull their stock and move on….

just wonderin'

Just read about the meat at McD.good grief.I never liked that place & glad I do eat any fast food.
