My cousin bought a bunch of these.
Can't wait to try it.

I usually prep the dogs with a knife, but it comes too close with the knife sometimes...

What a hoot, Jimmy!

You and I have both done those to cook on the grill. The cut edges get crispy and really do taste better.

But we've only done the 'wooden-skewer-and-knife-roll' method. And for $10, I'll keep doing it the same way......LOL (I'm so cheap ~ plus I have to stash it someplace in the kitchen and drawer real estate is always at a premium)

Cousin Donna bought them at Boscov's Dept. Store for $.99 cents.
You are right about the ?? Where to store it ? But I will probably use the big one for every size ( who cares ? little / big cuts? )
All above depends on ? does it work? and why do I have to stick the skewer in just to get the hot dog out? .....

I guess I will soon find out, huh? hahahahahaha Razz

For 99 cents, I'm all in! I'd buy Brian one in a heartbeat for 99 cents -- but not $10. Beth's right about real estate in kitchen drawers but it would be worth it to see Brian's eyes light up!! That's neat your cousin picked up a couple at that price 'cause it's a hoot even if you only use it once. I'd never had a hot dog anyway but boiled until Brian turned me on to frying them in some butter after you boil them -- love that crispy skin, too. I'm going to try Beth's skewer and knife roll method next time we have dogs!

Remembering MOM asking the Doctor.... "Doc. these kids won't eat meat; that's all they like is hot dogs!"
Doc. said, "SOooo let them eat hot dogs!" "Lots of meat in hot dogs!" Very Happy

Laughed at this. Remembered my brother having a lot of stomach problems when he went away to college. Finally went to the doctor about it. Doctor asked him what he usually ate and his diet consisted of the only two things he could make, and make cheaply: Hot dogs and tuna salad. Every day and every night! His doctor wasn't a fan of either, especially if you ate them regularly and only those things!
