since I turned off my cable

I am reading more. The Tv in my bedroom doesn't work lol.

However I get the best channels with this cheapo antenna.

Columbo is coming on in a few lol gosh I love these old tv shows.
I do miss PBS. I found that I can watch programs on my PC through HULU>

So I took a bunch of stuff to goodwill & looked at the books. I found 4 brand new Nicholas Sparks books.

Love his Books.I am good to go for a while..

DD#2 and GS are moving into the house in Ohio...can't tell you how much I am looking forward to June-July-August...

She tells me it'll cost her way too much to cancel her satelite tv contract so I told her to just call and cancel my cable. I don't care. I figure if she's going to be living there and paying the bills she can have whatever she wants. We've had the cable forever so I told her to just call the company and say she was me and cancel, say we've moved and are renting the house.

We canceled ours right before Barbara did. I get PBS from both Tucson and Phx while I'm in Phx. I just finished watching a program I never would have seen before. It was called "Daughter from Danang'. What an interesting documentary.

I haven't missed the 1000 channels we used to have. We were going to sign up or HULU Plus but I don't seem to stay in town long enough to do that either. My hubby hooked up a ROKU and I still haven't used it.

I just looked on amazon for the books I bought the other day.

kindle download was $5.99.6.99 & the new one is $7.50.

I may go back & see if there is more.
