April, 2017 Dinners

April is Andrea's birthday month. Even though her birthday isn't until the 17th we celebrated tonight.

A month or so ago she mentioned she still loved the Strawberry Sparkle Cake she use to get for her birthday every year. So, being the wonderful mother I am, I made an angel food cake on Friday so we could assemble it today.

Beth, you mentioned chicken teriyaki in the other thread.  Charlie was reminiscing about teriyaki places in Seattle and especially about chicken teriyaki.  He looked for a good restaurant chicken teriyaki recipe and found one with over 200 reviews and 5 stars.  We may be trying that one soon.
