Hardy breakfast before shopping.That & Ms Kat got me up at 6am..

There is no snooze alarm for a cat who wants to be fed.

How many times do I have to suggest it????

I have no pets. My son has two cats. One of them prefers to sleep on my bed though.

LOL!!!

Artie always woke me, early in the morning; before sunrise!

I recently started leaving a full can of food for him, just before I go to bed. It seems to have stopped that the early morning wake-ups!

However, (pardon my grammar--it was always my worst subject) it does not stop him from 'straight-jacketing' me at night! Artie cuddles so close that I cannot move! That is not good for a person who tosses and turns all night, due to sore joints!!!


Maybe Santa will give Artie his own bed for Christmas~~~~~~~wait! he already has 3 beds, with occasional use of one!!!! ugh!

I am so stressed out , I had to have some comfort food.Now I feel worse.

Barb - you inspired me to thaw out a biscuit and container of sausage gravy ~ I had forgotten I had it in the freezer.

I did not, however, have that huge of a meal.

But thanks for the idea!

Maybe you should get Artie his own 'friend' for Christmas.....

Oh, no, wait ~ one would be stretched out next to you and the other would be on top of you. Better re-think that idea!

lol my eyes were bigger then my stomach.I could not eat all of it.So it might be a sorry lunch..

One of Charlie's cats waits downstairs until I come to feed them. He sits and stares at me from a distance then slowly walks over to the food and eats slowly. The one that sleeps in my bed will walk on me in the morning, come over to my face and lick my cheek and sometimes even kiss me on the lips in order to wake me up.

Have you all seen this?

Soo funny!

Yup that is Artie in the morning!!  Except for the baseball bat.

Artie paws at and eventually pulls the covers down so that I have to wake up!

It starts with a loud 'meow', right in my ear!!! then the shoulder tapping, then tugging at the sheets, then walking, kneading, meowing!
The last bit is Artie being curled up on top of me!

Also, if I am lying on the coach, lying on my side, watching TV, Artie will crawl up and lie on the side up, pinning me down!

Many years ago I had a kitten.  The first time I slept late, it crawled up on my chest. I was awake but pretended to still be asleep. I felt it's whiskers on my cheeks then it moved up and I felt it's nose on mine, and then it licked one of my eyelids open.

Must be a cat thing lol.Mine does all that too.  She is trying her best to get outside.When she did go out,she would knock her head on the door to go out.Then to come in she would stand at the glass & paw the door.lol.I have a dog door.. Guess who used it ????lol I had to take it down.It blocked me from opening the door to go out on the patio or yard.Waste of a 100 bucks..

The whiskers really tickle my face!!! and nose!!!
It sure is a 'wake up' call!

Artie is not much of a 'licker'.....

He is a talker though! I get yelled at all the time!
Many days, When I leave the apartment, he must be lonely..
as soon as I return,  he runs over and yells at me for leaving him!!

Right now, he does not like his food, so he is circling me--waiting for treats!!
He jumped up, sniffed the laptop and is settling down next to me!!  
oppps---he got up and is looking for 'trouble"

he wants attention!!

Several years ago when I was on vacation, I had a friend look in on my cat once a day. For the first 3 or 4 days, my cat came to the door every time it was opened. Then she stopped. My friend worried that something had happened and went looking for her. She found her on my bed. When she walked in, my cat looked up with an expression like Oh it's just you and went back to sleep. It was like that every time afterward. When I came home, no cat, so I called out and heard a faint meow then another one a little louder. Meow, meow, meow louder and louder until she came to me looking very happy.

My last 2 eggs.Frozen yuck biscuit,tasteless tomato...But I still call it breakfast..

I usually split my frozen biscuits and toast 'em in the toaster oven.....slather of butter and good as new!

I ended up with an egg sandwich and cup of coffee.

Giant Costco size bag of them.. Shopped again yesterday,I have not shopped this much in the last 6 months...He puts 4 cartons of cage free organic brown eggs in the cart.. I said to self hummm wonder what those suckers cost?? Looked the receipt later $2.68.What what..they sure are high dollar at my stores..Reg old eggs are more then that.lol.

I LOVE Costco! Love the meats. Love Kirkland. Love just looking around and then going around again.
