Ever heard of...

A Kombucha Scoby ????

I got an email from Brod & Taylor about making this. So, I am thinking "what the heck is it"? It is a fermented probiotic drink. You grow a mold type thing that you use. Thanks, but no thanks.

OK, so I looked it up....one place said Kombucha is a fermented mushroom tea.

Maybe it's an acquired taste ~ and maybe it's something I have no interest in pursuing further....

I tried making one about 10 years ago. It looked and smelled so nasty I never tried it. I have lots of friends who swear by it.

It sounded like you make yourself liquid food poisoning.
