I would call it Apple pan Pretty.....
but you could call it Richard or Virginia or Matthew if you'd like.....you can name your food whatever!

I'm guessing being a lover of words and English/Art major that "pan" is for it being baked in a skillet instead of a baking dish or pie plate. "Dowdy" is it's more plain without a bottom crust and being fluted on the edges. Remember the song by Shirley Temple???
