America's worst charities

I just saw this on another forum I visit.  The worst charities for donations:  http://www.tampabay.com/americas-worst-charities/  We try to be good neighbors and we're getting ripped off.

I used to do some grant writing for a local food bank and they spent almost 100% on food for the poor with most of their work being done by volunteers.  I try to watch where I'm donating my money to now.

So sad we can't just assume these charities are being used for the stated purpose.  What gets me are those who lie about an illness or a sick child and use donations for a drug habit or vacations.  Humankind can be SO cruel.
