He's first cutting slices without going through the entire shell.

Then he separates the watermelon from the rind. Then he is cutting cubes. I do the same thing with avocado except for the first part since avocados are not so deep that the cubes need to be split in 2 or 3.

I don't think I've ever had a Ziploc bag big enough to hold the watermelon half. Looks like too much of a hassle to me.

Agreed on the size of the zip bag….I'd end up with watermelon falling all over my countertop.

I tried it, it was messy ( my watermelon was so juicy ), but it was a lot easier than the way I did before, I put them in a clean plastic bag (for produce) I got from a grocery store, Dirk had to hold the bag for me

I figured one of those jumbo zipper bags or just a large bowl would work.
