Yeah! And in the mean time, you have to be your own doctor!

I once called my doctor in Topeka-60 miles away and asked what time my appointment was for the next day and she told me my appointment had been rescheduled and they forgot to tell me.  Good thing I didn't show up the next day.

I do have a new doctor.

Boy, that would be a kick in the behind if you drove out there!

I got rear-ended by a man who took off in his car. The impact made me hit the woman in front of me. She took off for parts unknown too. So the next day I get up with whiplash. I couldn't even move my head. I called my doctor and was told the next available appointment was in two weeks. I couldn't believe it. I had my DH drive me to my BIL's office for treatment. I had something called Diathermy which is kind of a heat/microwave thingy. Well, it works, let me tell you. I was able to move my head right away. But to add insult to injury my BIL sent me a bill for $500. $#%&#$@!
He never got anything free from us again which normally would have been car repairs. We make him go to a repair shop and pay them. What goes around, comes around. Or is it called karma?

I had that happen to me once. Drove 60 miles only to find out the doctor had cancelled me. They did call but it was too late.

Tina had diathermy treatments (4x) and they released her early from the treatments on her right arm and hand. She has RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy)
or (Chronic Pain Syndrome) all caused from a botched up Rotator Cuff Surgery when the nerves were accidently cut!
It was too late for diathermy treatment because she had the RSD for 2 months, and it progressed too far. She is having difficulty with the left hand and elbow now, and I told her to get diathermy treatment now as soon as possible, but she is squeamish about going.

My dad was a Plumber, and in business. My moms sister and husband needed a new system. They asked Dad to give them a price. He checked out and surveyed what they needed, and Because of my Mom, he only charged in the price a great discount on the equipment and his labor price.
The price was quoted at $2,600,00. A few weeks went by, and Dad had my mother ark her sister, if they considered the price.
She said,"No that's ok, we had Sears Roebuck Install the new system. They were cheaper!" ( 200.00 cheaper)

Winter came and the new system had not worked. Sears attempted to repair the thing and they were not able to fix it.

A couple days, and freezing out, Moms sister called, and said,"Oh we are all freezing here, please oh please will Jimmy come over and see if he could fix it?"
Dad said,"Put your husband on the phone!" He said," Oh Jim I am so sorry I didn't have you install the heat!"

My dad said (and I was there as a 12 year old snot nosed kid listening), Carl, CALL SonofaB'n SEARS!" and he slammed the phone down!

It wasn't too long that day that Mom was crying and said,Oh Honey"My sister and the kids are cold...please do it for me, and go see if you can fix it!"

All was well and done, they all were happy and had the heat after dad repaired the botched up installation.
Dad said, "The s-o-b hid in the back yard garage all the while I was there .

That was the opportunity to nickname him "The Mouse!"

As the story goes.... Mom told her sister about how her husband acted like a mouse, and they stopped speaking to each other for over two years.

I could never understand, and I asked Mom,"Ma, how could that happen that you won't talk to your own sister that long of a time?"
Mom just said,"Son, When you grow up, you will understand!" "It happens with a lot of people!"

I just could never imagine something like that could happen!

NOW I understand after seeing and hearing of it with so many people.

I even know people who won't even talk to their own mother or father.

Seriously.....It makes me very sad! No
