We had to cancel the order, because the stove did not have a oven door handle, that we could drape the kitchen towel over.'
All it had, was a metal angle to open the door.

I think it was at Sears Roebuck that we bought it.
The salesman couldn't believe we did not want the stove because of no place to hang the towel....hahahahaha

Now that that was said, Tina will flip a gourd when she sees this.
I love to tease.
This is the new refrigerator the kids bought us a few weeks ago.
Tina passed by it twice, but didn't notice it yet! ....

Ooops! She saw the camera flash, and looked and found it. She said a few choice words about it, and all I know, is the towel is on the counter where she slapped it down.
Don't fret. I will hang it there again. Not too soon though!! LOL We Ordered a Stove Once....and 3447731902

The towel on the pull out drawer is fine on the new refrigerator.

But a towel hanging on an oven door just drags/wipes the floor when you open the door. Not an appetizing sight when you think about it.

LOL

I put a paper towel holder beside my range. So no towel.I have one hanging on my cab door in front of the sink lol Even though I have a papertowel rack above the sink.I cuss them both out all the time too.all I want is one towel ,not half the roll.

The happiest thing in the kitchen, was the stainless front; which will not hold a magnet. The side is steel though! Evil or Very Mad

LOL

The towel is put on the oven door bar just to dry. When we are using the oven, it gets put on the counter until we are done cooking.

I want to place a towel bar in front of the sink, but Tina hates that.

ha, I just crack the door open and lay it over.Lazy I am. I saw a metal bathroom rack screwed to the end of the side of the lower cabinet by the range. I have one on the side of my kitchen cart but the cat keeps pulling it off when she jumps up to eat her food.

I am anal about my cloth kitchen towels.I have some from 1980 lol I have loads of my grans feed sack and my moms too.I used to collect the cloth calendar year ones and then wash them till they are soft. I roll out biscuits and scones and pizza dough and bread on them.  I even have some I never have used from 1990 , I bought them from W&S in Baltimore lol

We go through a case of paper towels a week... We have the sponge, but no one but me, uses it to wipe up spills etc. Tina and the kids are the towel pullers.
And I hate when they don't leave a little of the towel hang so the next person could just grab it.

What I really hate, is the old dish rag ( used them years ago before synthetic sponges ) that is hung over the faucet spout to dry!....

We have a simple human soap dispenser, the infra red sensor sees the hand / sponge, and a squirt of soap is dispensed. I love that thing. No grabbing the squirt bottle of soap, or pumping the pump out ones. Grrrrrrrr!

And the toilet paper.... I hate when the last user tears the paper off the roll and wrinkles the trailing end with their hand. As a matter of fact.... truthfully, I have my own roll of paper hidden in the closet for me only.

They call me sanitary Jim. hahahahaha

I have a stainless steel front refrigerator and a magnet will not stick in some places but will in others.

I was just checking out this site for something new, and had a laugh over the towel hanging on the oven door.  I have never hung a towel there.  Hate to see it, clean, dirty, colour co-ordinated or whatever.  Don't want to see a dish towel hanging in my kitchen.

In my previous kitchens I had one of those towel racks mounted under the sink which slides out and can hold up to three towels.  Now I have a walk in pantry which is only about 6 ft. from my sink, and I installed towel bars in the pantry.

I know when my daughters-in-law are helping in the kitchen, a towel or two always end up on the stove handle.  I don't say anything about it, I am just grateful that someone is cleaning up.  As soon as they leave, the towels disappear. LOL
