I cooked some chicken and dumplings for the first time yesterday.. to my surprise, I like it.. DH loves it, he talked about how his Mom cooked it when they were little, so yesterday I cooked it my way.. well.. Pioneer Woman's way.. sort of.. I added some plain yogurt instead of heavy cream

I have a question now for chicken noodle soup I'm going to cook this Sunday.. do you guys boil the noodles separately or just dump them in the soup, and cook them with the broth and chicken meats.. .. I cooked a lot of Asian style noodles, but the first time for this

I like most bleu cheeses but Gorganzola is my fave -- would love those figs just as you made them, B!

Dane's still trying to cut back on his carbs so I'm attempting to come up with substitutes for potatoes where I can. I realize green beans and panko aren't exactly the best way to go, but if I cut out all his carbs he'll crave them and then we're back at square one.
