Vent.....PO Big time..

I have been going to my endocrinology Doc now for over 6yrs.Today I get a bill for $180.   
I have never paid one red cent for any service.

I may have to stop going to her.   I am not paying that every time I go in now...   

 

another thing.. I have been paying $4. for my test strips.I just had to pay $12 for the same amount.
What What What ?????

have you called to ask why the change in charge? Sometimes it's just a 'newbie' clerk and they code incorrectly.

I'd also ask about why the 300% increase in the test strips.

I'm with Beth: Give them a call and see what's different now.

Barb, do you have Medicare? Many times a doctor will send a bill for what they charge and make no adjustments for what is allowed and what you have to pay. They do that in hopes that you won't question the bill so they can make more money. It is illegal but it is done all of the time. You need to read the Medicare EOB to see what is happening.
