What the Heck???

so I have been buying the curly Q light bulbs.I thought they would last & last.Wrong..I have to replace them as fast as the other ones.I may go back to those,they are much cheaper.

One over my stove top,out.Bathroom ,Out.Over my kitchen sink, out.Then this morning the one in my Tiffany stand lamp,poof......   

I paid $8 for 3 of them..  

They are phasing out the old style. You may not be able to find them in the wattage you want for much longer. They should last longer though. Are they inside something that lets heat build up like a glass chimney or recessed and covered outlet? There may be something wrong with your electrical.

LED lights are still expensive but they should last much longer and save more electricity.
