BULLFROG !!

All of the villas in this complex have a storm sewer drain in the back corner of the property. There is a square domed cover to allow for drainage of rain water.

And I have a frog living in there....you cannot believe how LOUD the echoing noise is! I finally got brave enough to go over and look and it's just a little guy, but he's got great lung power.

I just pulled the cover off to give him a chance to crawl his way out. Then he can just be on his way and find someplace else to be. It's times like this that I wish I had a husband or grandson nearby to remedy the situation.

But it's taken me 3 days to get up the nerve to move the cover....

I'm a sissy when it comes to frogs and bugs and things that go bump in the night....have never liked "nature" up close.

no ~ NO!!! NOT the Everglades....I live in THE VILLAGES....

It's a golfing community with a drinking problem....

We have a spray for EVERYTHING and we have everything sprayed every month!

Heck, I only rarely even see a fly outside.

If it weren't for the geckos I'd think there was no wildlife at all!
