Local brewery released some chocolate ale for the first time in two years. Last time liquor stores were mobbed with lines around the block. I asked a store several weeks ago if they were getting any this year and learned they were having a sign-up list with a limit of two bottles. I got a call today that mine were ready to pick up. I plan to open a bottle on Valentines Day.

I hope you like it. I tried pumpkin beer, yuck ,down the drain it went.I also got a bottle of chocolate wine ,needless to say I gave it to my DD.

Then again I don't like flavored beer much.I have Blue Moon in my fridge & it has been there over a yr.lol.

Let us know how it goes over..

Interesting, Norm....don't know it would go in my house, the house of Heinekin (is that spelled correct? That German beer that comes in green bottles.....)

I'm not a beer OR wine drinker. You all know MY preference.....LOL

Though Brian is a big beer drinker (that or scotch, but primarily beer), I'm not a fan of beer or ale. But it does sound interesting to me, and I'd like to try it.

I'm not much on anything that is carbonated unless it comes in a Champagne bottle!

Well, this chocolate ale does come in a champagne bottle. It even had wired on corks.
