Braised Lettuce

   I will use my grill .Use Romaine,& if I do not have pine nuts (and I don't right now) I will use slivered almonds toasted.

this sounds soooooooo good.

I've done the grilled romaine before - just a drizzle of basalmic in addition to s&p.

"Someone" I live with (not to name names) does not like escarole, pine nuts OR raisins. He shall remain nameless ~ but you KNOW to whom I refer! lol
