Hey Barb, we are worried. Watching the weather channel and it is not a good report for the southern coastal area.

I am watching the mass parking lots on the highways in Georgia in Atlanta!

Stay indoors, and if you have to walk outside, "Walk Like A Penguin!

Oh I am fine right now.My electric is still on.That is the only thing I worry about.Everyone is freaking out.Snow is ok,but the ice that is bad.72` yesterday..it is down to 32` right now.all the bridges are closed so if you had to go over one to get home you sol.Power is out all over the place.stores where mobbed to get water,bread,milk,Wal mart had all the eggs gone LMAO over that. I mean who can cook.Very few folks have gas.I have gas grill & 2 charcoal grills IF IF I have to cook something but not going to like going out in the cold that is for sure.I have sandwich stuff & a huge pot of chili today. it is cold by now but I could heat it up on the grill if I wanted too.Thankfull my electric is still on..I made 3 pots of tea for iced tea & filled lots of pitchers of water.I will make coffee later but my pots do not keep it that hot so by morning it would be cool/cold..So that is if my power goes off.

People are nuts here with this.We don't have the salt for the roads or the houses are not built for it for winter  like other places.This sun tropic area has not had snow since 2010 & it here then gone lol.35 high tomorrow.4

4 next day. Then back up to 60/70 by friday..........Shelters are open don't know how folks can even get there?????

So for now I am good to go... Wink

We had a gorgeous day today - 75° and beautiful blue skies. Dane loved it.

They say tomorrow the high will be 49° but it's only for a day.....nothing like it is in Ohio. Got a text from our grandson. They closed schools for the last 2 days because of the weather.

It's 12º out now. CRISP!
Tina didn't move out of the house today.
I was out there, and I started the Generator to exercise it just in case we lose power. I started right up, and that was a plus.
Then I had to empty the trunk full of garbage that Tina brought from her uncles. He couldn't put out the trash for pickup because of the snow in the driveway, so Tina played Garbage Lady and brought it home for me to put out tomorrow.

Tina said at her uncles in South Jersey, there were like 500 robin red breasts in the field next to the house.
The ground isn't frozen down there, and the birds were digging for worms. Something is messed up for them to arrive so early? .... Darn!

here is 72' / 39' ... it's nice, bright and shiny.. we just got back from our night stroll.. we did it since last week, my morning walk companion hurt her ankle so she has to rest for awhile.. Dirk steps up and walk with me, we go out late at night, after 9 pm.. tonight we walked to Walmart, about 3 miles.. it was cold, around 50'.. we had a good walk... now my legs are sore


mmh.. I smell something cooking in the microwave/toaster oven.. somebody must be hungry and fix his own late supper   How Is the weather by Y O U ?... 1838020472   lol!

Gee! I am watching the Weather Channel and Kansas and the KCK area looks to have had a good dumping of snow. Havn't heard from Norm. He must be prepping and clearing the snow by his property etc.
The Indy area too! .... It's getting hammered, but they are used to it there I guess!
I am watching our area maps, and I see it's just touching Allentown, PA. That means in 1 hour or so it will touch down here. We are forecast another 5 inches on top of yesterdays 8 to 9 we already have.
Plus starting as freezing rain. I would rather snow than rain that freezes on the wires and trees.

Haaaa! I still have to check my Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket. Jeepers, maybe I won some cash! I can call someone to clean the snow. Yeah Right!! More like...hello jimmy! Get off yer butt, and clean it up!

It has been snowing about 1/2 inch an hour since early yesterday morning. It is supposed to stop in an hour or two. The mayor is telling people to stay home and most places are closed today. Charlie left work about 11 yesterday and it took him 45 minutes to get home. He shoveled the snow but it needs it again. Cassie's restaurant closed at 4 pm yesterday. They told everybody to take home the food or it would have to be thrown out.

We're at 72°, overcast and looks like rain. I've got the patio doors open to air the house out....getting humid in here so I'll probably close up soon.
