I ran across this recipe and thought it was so cute. I hope to give it a try. Scroll down to see the finished product.

Well, it's certainly different than anything I've ever seen before.

I can truthfully say I've never even thought of adding yeast to a boxed cake mix.....

interesting

Neither have I seen a cake mix and yeast combined but you can use your own cinnamon roll recipe and just add the food coloring.

If you did that, you could roll in some of the cinnamon red hot candies.....love those things!

Very Clever.

If it were me, I would open a can of the blue tube cinnamon rolls, and fudge them open, and then brush some red food coloring on; and then roll them back up.

Green for Patricks Day! ...

Great Idea!!!

We're having a "High Tea" in our building (150 units) for Valentine's Day. It's a tradition. Now, my idea of a great sandwich involves dark rye bread and stuff like ham, cheese, and things like meat and sauerkraut..................... Apparently, for High tea it's disgusting white bread with no crusts, and things like cucumbers and watercress. So, making those sandwiches will be a learning experience for me. LOL

You could do scones, lemon curd and double cream.

I'm on the sandwich detail. Someone else is doing scones. Apparently there will be only fine china teacups.LOL I plan to take some of my very nice, delicate fine China mugs there. I am also making some pinwheel sandwiches. Gonna practice today.
