Barbara, I made an eggnog quick bread that was delish too. Also made an eggnog custard pie that is fabulous and about 5 minutes to make with a refrigerated pie crust.

Eggnog Custard Pie....that sounds like something Dane would love.

He'll be here in about a month ~

I'd appreciate you posting your recipe, Pea, just in case I get ambitious. Thanks!

I don't care for eggnog either and I am not sure why. This year I made eggnog crème brulee and everyone loved it. I didn't. I found a recipe for eggnog cake but I never got around to making it.

4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups refrigerated eggnog, not low-fat (I used CF Burger Custard or Southern Comfort plain)
1/4 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1 - 9 inch refrigerated pie crust

Whisk all the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl and pour into prepared 1 crust pie fitted in a 9-inch pie pan.  Bake in a 425 degree preheated oven for 15 minutes.  Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 40 minutes or until custard is lightly set.  Cut when pie is slightly warm or refrigerate, once cooled, and serve cold.  Refrigerate after serving.
