I'm a fairly tolerant person....
OK, so I lie! I'm NOT tolerant of some things....and creatures who try to scurry into my home are NOT something I'm very tolerant of....
I was going to open my sliding patio door when I looked down and saw a big, fat gecko sunning itself just outside the door.
Ewwwww! The last thing I want is for another one to be inside. I've found one dried up gecko and one dried up frog by the inside patio doors when we took posession of this home. And before I found it is absolutely necessary to close the screen or door on the sliders I did have one gecko decide to come inside. I was able to "corral" the creature and shoooed it back out the door, but I was sweatin' bullets thinking of how I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't get it to go out the door on it's own!
I know those little creatures are good to have outside. I understand they eat all kinds of bugs and things. But, just like rodents in Ohio, they startle me when I'm outside and they dart in front of me. But, hey, if they don't come inside then I'm good with them camping out in my bushes!
