How To Cook A Turkey

Step 1. Buy a turkey
Step 2. Have a glass of wine
Step 3. Stuff turkey
Step 4. Have a glass of wine
Step 5. Put turkey in oven
Step 6. Relax and have a glass of wine
Step 7. Turk the bastey
Step 8. Wine of glass another get
Step 9. Hunt for meat thermometer
Step 10. Glass yourself another pour of wine
Step 11. Bake the wine for 4 hours
Step 12. Take the oven out of the turkey
Step 13. Tet the sable
Step 14. Grab another wottle of bine
Step 15. Turk the carvy!

Any one remember the story of "Old Man Bob" and how he found a new way to cook the turkey?

Makes me G a G everytime I think of it.

Bob was a 78 year old man (widower ) at the time, and he was my next door neighbor when we lived in our old house.

He was a man living in the 30's. He grew up a farmer, and later married and worked as a loading dock warehouseman for years.

He knocked on my door with a platter of turkey parts, and said ,"I can really cook a good turkey!" "I boil it for one hour, and then turn the oven up to 500, then bake it for 1 hour!" " Here's some to try for you and your wife!"
It comes out so nice and juicy, and the meat is nice and pink inside!"

OMG.... The bones were still bloody, and they would not separate from the joints without pulling really hard.
The smell!!! I don't even want to think about the smell!! GAG...
