We were at 85° today also, but since I had the top down in the car it was breezy and comfortable.
I drove over to a friend's and we decided to go do some shopping at Belk's because they were having another wonderful sale. She said she'd drive their new golf cart to the store so, like a Dummy, I just left my car sitting in her driveway with the top down. Can't do that in Florida.
While we were in the dressing room trying on clothes Sue's phone rang. Her husband just wanted to let us know it was raining and, oh, by the way, ask Beth if she left the keys to her car.....
By the time we got back to Sue's the rain had stopped and by the time we got done wiping down the seats, etc. my car looked like it was detailed by the cleaning crew! Oh well, isn't the first time that's happened ~ and I'm sure it's not the last.

Our house guest and my DH went to the beach today. I wish it would get cooler too. I have no patience for more than a couple of hours on the sand and my DH goes for 8 hours, so I stay home and work. My guest should be home cleaning her room but since she has moved in with us I have found that the only work she does is what it takes to stay on Facebook for 12 hours and the effort it takes to open up a bottle of wine. She drinks a whole bottle every evening.

That gives me nightmares. As it is I am going to have to play nurse to her when she gets some shoulder surgery next month.
