YOU went to the beach and didn't call me???

It looks absolutely PEACEFUL and you got some great shots! Are the boys out of school or did you just go on your own? That sea turtle is amazing.

(nosey, jealous me......)

It's worth the trip just to listen to the sound ...

Boy, isn't THAT the truth, Pea?

It takes me about 2 hours to get to the ocean, just south of St. Augustine.

Dane keeps saying he wants to go surf fishing and pier fishing when he gets here so I imagine I'll tag along and maybe even join in, as long as he'll agree to do the baiting and removal. I remember when we lived here in the 1970's fishing was one of our past-times, since it was a free activity, other than the bait (and that's not expensive). My nephew said a license is up to $15, I think. Still, if you can catch food.....

I just go to sit and listen to the waves. The rhythm and smell is soul soothing to me.

Really pretty shots, B.

We find sitting on our balcony and watching the ships and paddlewheelers pass by very relaxing as well. I really think it lowers your blood pressure!

Whenever I vacation on the Gulf, I love to just sit and listen and watch the sparkles on the waves during the day. I think you are right in that it lowers blood pressure and I always feel so peaceful, relaxed and refreshed. I'd have to be rich to live down South because I'd have to be on the Gulf. Stay safe down there Crybaby and let us know that you're okay.
