A little of this ~ a little of that.....Nice!

(I was hungry early this morning and ended up with another plate of sausage gravy & biscuits ~ didn't do a pic 'cause you've seen that one enough this month.....lol)

I tell ya I have bought a roll can of lousy biscuits for the last time

I ate one.gross.so in the morning I am going to make gravy sausage to mask the taste. Then toss them out.

Barb, next time you go to the store see if you can pick up a small package of the White Lily Self-Rising flour. 2 1/4 c. flour, 1 c. heavy whipping cream - mix, knead a couple times, pat out - cut & bake at 400° 18-22 minutes. They couldn't be easier. Then I wrap individually in plastic, store in a zip bag in the freezer. They're always fresh & good tasting - split & into the toaster oven or a skillet to warm, if desired. Just like fresh.

NO MORE BISCUITS IN A TUBE!

I was thinking of a frittata for breakfast this morning, even got started sautéing some sliced potatoes, carrots & onions. When I turned them in the skillet and tasted for doneness ~ well, the combination tasted so good I decided to change my mind and have Scrambled Eggs on Potato Hash !

Why in the world do I think I must make up a name for my food??? Maybe I should just call this breakfast Gertrude.....

Yeah, I guess that old, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day...." sales pitch really stuck with a couple old broads!  LOL

Your fruit looks really fresh - I haven't seen any fruit, save for a couple bananas on sale for $.39/lb (what a switch from $.69/lb....) that I would spend my $$ on.  It just seems so strange to be living in such a mild weather place and not be able to find any decent fruit....

I know, I'm just sounding so...."sour grapes"

(that's a pun, wouldn't you know???  LOL)

Oh, I just had a couple scrambled eggs with reheated zucchini/onions from the grill the other night. Didn't do a pic, just stood by the sink and finished it off in minutes.

If I posted a picture of my breakfast, I'd just be posting the same picture every other day.

Norm, you had me laughing again! And you don't really have eggs EVERY single day, do you? I'd love to do that but would be afraid I'd be dead in a year!

Norm, you make the perfect French Rolled Omelette! Impressive ~ day after day, always exquisite.

I do have 2 eggs everyday. Although lately I have been having them over easy on 1 piece of toast instead of a plain omelet with about a T. of cheese and two slices of toast. I usually have one or two cups of coffee everyday too.

My breakfast was a chocolate chip cookie.

Today I am going to try to make a meatloaf cake. If it is successful, I will try and post a picture.

What's the line from the movie, When Harry Met Sally?   ......."I'll have what she's having."

Actually, I decided to have what Norm had ~ two eggs & toast......

Oh, I just had mine in a different form, but still two eggs & toast.

I love when you roll your eggs out of the pan like that.....you remind me of Jacques!

I think I learned to do that from Julia. From Jacques, I learned that it is OK if it gets browned sometimes.
