Since I saw a good review of Better Than Bouillon last year, I've purchased some in both chicken and mushroom flavors. Recently, I saw some in an "Au Jus" flavor online so I ordered some. I really really like this as it adds a nice kick of really beefy flavor.
We used some last week in boulettes (small meatballs in brown gravy) and also yesterday in some pot roast. Very very good. I'm usually not crazy about boxed/canned beef broth as I don't find the flavor very good so it's nice to put a small teaspoon of this Au Jus in what you're making to boost the beefy flavor.
I cooked some orzo instead of rice to go with the pot roast last night and Brian went wild over it. I hadn't realized he'd never had it before but it will make a return appearance soon, that's for sure.
