Cooking Friends
Yeah, but the one who's nice is VERY NICE! Depending on the person/people, sometimes it's smart not to get too friendly. We had a neighbor who wouldn't leave us alone -- it really got to be a problem for a while. He was really weird and it didn't take long for us to realize we should've been "hi and bi" only with this cuckoo! He was a Ph.D. in chemistry and worked at a drug testing lab on contract. Thank you, God, when they didn't renew his contract. I used to tell Brian that he couldn't be that nutty at home and still act normal at work so it's what I was hoping for. He moved to TN for a job and put his house on the market. It took forever to sell and he'd paid too much for it (it was a lousy renovation -- lots of very small rooms which the next owner opened up into a modern open plan inside) so he took a bath on it when it finally sold after about 15 months. I was really glad he was gone 'cause he was so nuts that I worried he'd burn our house down or hurt our cats.Barbara101 wrote:NICE NEIGHBOR... one. Not one other person in this whole place is friendly or waves or says boo...
