Here, too, B. We're looking at a heat index tomorrow of 100 to 105 and there's only a 10% chance of rain! When you open the freaking door, it seems like it's Thanksgiving and you're checking the turkey in the darn oven!

Thank God Brian waters the plants and the veggies as this is the time of year when I normally go out there to water, have second thoughts and then holler to my plants, "You're on your own. Only the strong survive!" I'm so glad he's so into the garden now! queen

It goes down to 52 tonight. Tina already has he flannel pj's on.
Tomorrow low 70' and rain every day starting Tuesday.

Haven't had the A/C on over a week now.

I would die if it was ever 100 degrees.

Well, maybe not DIE....but you sure would grumble about it!

It's in the 50's in the mornings and maybe the low 70's during the day....way, WAY lower than normal in August. Last year it was one of the hottest for the longest period of time in a lot of years.

Mother Nature sure is fickle. But I'm not going to complain.

You guys are lucky for sure. This is forecast to be the hottest week so far this summer, with 95 projected for 7 straight days, with only a 30% chance of rain. I pray for rain every day (free water for the garden) and sometimes even if it doesn't rain and just gets overcast for a while, it's nice. With the temp that high, I guess our heat index will be around 105. Thank God Brian and I live "across the street" from the Mississippi River as we usually have it a bit cooler with some type of breeze. I'm born and raised here but I find I dislike the heat a lot more as I age. Brian ADORES it! Evil or Very Mad

It is in the 70's here in Kansas City and we've had plenty of rain too. Last year it was so hot and dry. The lawn didn't need cutting for two months.

Man, I would kill for some weather in the 70s -- my favorite. I wouldn't mind the heat so much if we only had cool nights. When it's this hot, the night time temperature sometimes doesn't go below 80. That's too damn hot for anyone!

One of the men who came to organize for the auction this morning said he turned on the heat in his truck because it was so cool.  I'm telling you, this is just crazy weather.
