Molly has been scratching at her ears,so I get the ear cleaner the vet gave me.

It is in a container just like my Eye wash Shocked

so you can see where this is going...

yup I took off my glasses to clean my eye. Picked up Mollys ear cleaner

guess my eye is as clean as her ears now.

I have had to wash it out a few times, & the sting has gone.

Lord Have mercy, I do dumb stuff...

Oh! Gawrsh No!.... How bout this pun = "Eye Hear You!"

A funny thing you mentioned that.....

let's go back to 1964. I was in the Navy, and my station in Puerto Rico, I had Tina Weena with me, and we lived 15 miles off base.
Story: She had a bad infection on her foot alongside the ankle. It was nasty. She was treting it with bacteriacide ointment for weeks that she got from the Base Hospital Dr.
It wasn't getting better, and we were really tring everything to rid the infection of whatever it was.
It was Nite Nite time, and I was half "S" Faced from having one too many sippy sips from the rum bottle. Tina said,"Hon, when you come back from the bathroom, get my bottle of ointment and a cotton swab; ok?" ..... I grabbed the bottle of cough medicine (A prescription of Turpin Hydrate )

I put it on the cotton swab, and daubed it on poor Tina's ankle. She jumped up screaming, and said OMG the medicine never burned like that before!
We went to bed, and the next morning, Tina noticed the medicine was the turpin hydrat cough syrup.
2 (Two) Days Later.... the itchy and sore on her ankle closed up, and started to heal.
Dumb Dr. Jimmy Healed her with the wrong stuff! ... Yay! It woiked!cheers

Yeah! Right!

And that Turpin Hydrate isn't available today. It was some nasty stuff taking it for a cold, but it knocked the livin heck out of congestion.

The replacement is Tussinex with codine today. Drugs...Drugs will put them to sleeeeep!

I had to laugh, Barbara, as it sounds like something Brian would do (forgive me!). I wear contacts 24/7 and I often get dry eye in the night. Have worried I would do something like this so I always turn the light on -- I figure it may annoy Brian but it's better than rushing me to the ER!

Glad it worked out alright for you!
