Well, I'm getting calls, texts and photos of the wildfire that hit Prescott, AZ a few hours ago.  It's about 10 miles from my home and at least for the time being, is blowing the other way.

We have well trained firefighters here who are called upon to fight wildfires across the entire North America, so I am confident they will stop it before it gets too bad.

We just left yesterday and I wish I was up there now, in case we need to evacuate, there are things I want to get out of the house (i.e., wedding pictures)

We've been working tirelessly to get all the neighbors to clear the brush from their property to make it Firewise, but even with all that work, wildfires can take over.

If you have any extra prayers, save a few for these people.  Thanks

All the residents and property will be mentioned for sure.  I know when a tragedy strikes everyone says as long as the family is safe then the rest can be replaced.  But it would be so sad to know things you loved and reminders of past times were lost.  I pray all will be kept safe for you and others.

I heard on the news they think they have the fires "contained" but that doesn't mean the danger is over.  Stay safe and know we'll be thinking good thoughts for you.

I hadn't heard that it's contained yet.  It just started and has already spread to over 800 acres.  It's in rugged areas with lots of trees and canyons.

I might have to drive up there tomorrow and hang around....just in case any more evacuations are required.  I want to get some things out of there.
