UNCLE JIMMY

affraid Great Grandma & Grandpa Tina & Jimmy...

OOops!..... Uh Oh!!! SYtsIf

The caption of this picture is, "Starting To Show!"
So that is the purpose of Her dad ( our son ) to fix and paint and ready, a bigger room for her, and the new baby!
BTW.... It's a Boy!

Her mother doesn't want the screaming kid......the father doesn't want to upset his lifestyle.....But it's ok to dump the kid on old Tina and Jimmy!
I am 100% against it.....Tina is feeling sorry, and so Tina opens up, and agrees to put up with it. Nice Huh??.....

The father of the kid....( biff bam; thank you mam )... She say's she will file for support after the baby is born. I can't wait till that xxit starts.

So...what do you all think about "Jim and Tina's Nursery"? AKA a former "Geriatric Center for long lost Uncles!"   Mad

So this is your granddaughter, and she's pregnant? She must live with you now, right, as I recently noticed you'd say something like, "Tina and GD had (whatever) for dinner"... on a pretty regular basis. So now your son is making a room in YOUR house bigger to house your GD and the new baby? So the plan is they live with you permanently?

Have I got that all that right? Questions: Is there a reason why she lives with you now? Does she work or go to school? Who the baby daddy and where does HE live? Does he work or go to school? Is there a reason your GD doesn't live in an apartment of her own at this stage in her life? How did she end up living with you to start out with (assuming she lived there BEFORE she got pregnant)? Does she help you and Tina out right now since she's living with you, you know, like cleaning the house and the kitchen, running errands for you, or going with Tina on the long car trips she makes so she's not traveling alone?

All I've got to say is that sure is taking on a lot of changes at this stage in your life, especially with your son enlarging a room in your house. Your house looks sooo big already, Jimmy; isn't there another room that would be suitable for the baby besides the room your GD stays in? Is further construction really needed? What happens if you and Tina decide this arrangement isn't working; is there a backup plan with your GD and/or her parents if this proves to be too much for you and Tina?

I don't have any kids but this sure seems like a big decision and a big sacrifice for you and Tina to make at this stage of your lives. I'm glad it's not us and I sure do hope everything works out for the best.

you guys have bigger hearts than me.....no more babies in my house. At least the 13 yr. old sleeps 12 hours straight and doesn't require more than feeding in his care instructions. The rest of the stuff he's old enough to take care of himself! (OK, so maybe his grandfather had to remind him a shower was in order the other day.....)

I will reply to all....but for now, I just woke up, and my brain is still sleeping........so I say the same, and I said it the day we had the family meeting and were shown the ultrasound pics as a surprise.

Exactly what I said to my son...."Mommy and Dad are too old to deal with this now!"

I told her...go stay with your father. Her real mother doesn't even want her, and never did want her.

All we have done for the GD, and in the end, we are the BAD ones.
plus....the kid is Bi-Polar. Just like her mother, and she won't take her med's for it.

Gee, Jimmy, it's sounding worse rather than better. I have the feeling that you and Tina are going to end up raising this baby when all is said and done. I'm kind of surprised your son would even ask you to do this at this stage in your life, especially considering the health issues you both have had or are currently dealing with...

I said NO, but Tina the holy one said she can stay here with the baby till she gets housing. She has been here for months now. lost like 8 jobs quitting or layed off.
We were charging her 25 dollars a week for rent, but it was going to the bank for when she needed something like a car repairs etc.
Jimmy's wife is a step mother, and raised her till she was 18 when she left to live with whomever / wherever / even trecking down to NC to live with her borfriends at the time grandmother.
Remember, her real birth mom wants her freedom and lives a different lifestyle other than man and wife. The rainbow flag fly's over that two. If you know what I'm getting at!!..... No No No No

I just read all of this Jimmy. It is 10 pounds of chit in a five pound bag. Has she thought of adoption? After all, she has a mental illness and should not be raising a child. If she can't take care of herself then she certainly can't take care of a child. There are open adoptions. Try not to let her dump the responsibility on you and Tina. If she does, and this is going to sound ugly, you can contact CPS and report her and they may put the child in a foster home forcing her to shape up and fly right.
I also hate saying this but I am thinking of you and Tina. Have her work the system to the max and have her get food stamps and whatever else she can. I don't want to see her drain your bank account.

Don't worry, the other side of the family ( maternal side ), are professional users of the system. They know all the laws, and the money angles. They know the court systems including parole rules for just any kind of felony.

The last 8 years up until the GD was 18, the mother defaulted on her child support payments. ( She signed custody over to my son ) She had to pay support, but not as much as if my son was paying when the mother had custody.
She owes my son over 4200.00 for back child support payments.
My son never persued it to take her to court.... HIS Bad!

As far as the baby and GD's concern, she is very protective of that to be born child, and she is eating carefully and makes and has all her Dr's tests, and appointments. She is a drama queen, but she is really a super drama queen when it comes to her baby... I personally think she will be a great and caring mother.

BTW .... good to see you back!

Glad to hear you have confidence in her ability to be a good mother. I hope you are right. I hope she works the system and gets what she needs for the child.

Fabulous! (Jim, Jr. looks a little overwhelmed about the whole thing.....a Grandpa!)

Meranda looks tired but happy (to have it all over ~ it's a lot more work than you can imagine)

Bless them all!

ps - Maria looks so much like Ms. Tina. Never noticed it until that pic..... Beautiful.

Thanks Michelle.
A really funny thing, and we are all adults here; its just cute.

Meranda was ready to deliver, and she was 6 cm dilated.....and so cute, she said quietly to the delivery nurse,"I think I have to poop!"......The nurse said,"OH YOU'RE GONNA ALL RIGHT!" ....But "That's the feeling of the baby pressing to get out, and NOT The nature call!"

Women poop all of the time when giving birth. Just ask my BIL. He is an OBGYN. They also break wind right in his face. Just what you wanted to know.

Tina just said, years ago they gave women an enema before delivery room.
No more of that.
