Garlic Aioli: (homemade mayonnaise)

2 large egg yolks
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 medium garlic clove, minced thru a garlic press
  1 cup vegetable oil (or EVVO)
1 tbsp water
1/4 tsp black pepper

Process yolks, mustard, lemon juice and garlic in a food processor for 10 seconds until combined. With machine running, slowly drizzle in  oil, about 1 minute.

 

Refrigerate in an air tight container for up to 4 days

Homemade Mayonnaise: Have you ever made homemade MAYO? It's so easy and you'll never want to use store-bought mayonnaise again, trust me! Use this in your summer salads and everyone is going to be begging you for your recipe!
You will need:
1 egg yolk
About 3/4 cup canola oil
About 2 tsp. dijon mustard
A pinch of sea salt
Juice from half a lemon
1. mix the yolk, salt, & dijon.
2. with the mixer running slowly drizzle in oil until you have a thick and creamy and mayonnaisey mixture.
3. squeeze in some lemon juice and mix again.
Pro-Tip: Play around with making your own mayo. Add a little garlic and use olive oil for aioli. You can easily scale the recipe up, or add a little vinegar... make your own special mayo recipe!
