that you should only  keep whole wheat flour for 6months..

I have 4 , 5lb bags in the freezer.Not really a fan of the taste. maybe toss it ???

I'd toss it just because I don't like it.....I think it will keep longer than 6 months in the freezer. But, seriously, when are you EVER going to use it? Maybe a couple cups once in a blue moon.....I'd toss it and have the freezer space available for something good.

((like king crab legs on sale......just sayin' ))

It should only be kept up to 6 months after milling date. I think the expiration date is on the bag. It will keep up to a year in the freezer. Whole wheat flour has more fat and that will go rancid and that is why it shouldn't be kept too long.
