I have had a large aluminum pan from a restaurant supply store for about 25 years. My family always wants wings baked in the oven, not deep fried. Pan was looking really bad, I couldn't get it clean any more, so I tossed it, and bought a new one. BIG MISTAKE!

Wings now stick like crazy. Any idea as to how to season it? My wings' reputation is on the line.

I wanted my 'new' aluminum sheet pans to stay nice looking.....don't know why, but that's what I decided.

I line them with foil or non-stick foil for everything I bake on them.

Seems silly, now that I think about it. Who cares what my sheet pans look like? Well, I guess I do..... ((sigh))

I tried lining it with parchment, then the wings don't get as crisp as they do straight on the pan. I have never heard of no stick foil. If I have to choose between nice looking pan and crispy wings, crispy wins. Shoulda kept the old pan. Too late. I have thought about just greasing it and sticking it in the oven for a couple of hours or days.

you haven't got anything to lose at this point.  If it doesn't work and you end up with a sticky mess of a pan you just go back to a restaurant supply store and get another one for $11 or so.  IF it works, then you're doin' a 'happy dance'.....

Around here we can purchase Reynolds brand Non-Stick Aluminum Foil.  I think it's got a silicone coating on one side of the foil.  I use it when I make sticky chicken on my grill and I don't want the sweet, sticky glaze to make a nightmare mess out of my grill grates.  I used it just recently for my Huli Huli Chicken Thighs.  The glaze burned on to the foil but the chicken didn't stick.  Love the stuff.

Thanks. Will try sticking it in the oven with some oil.

This is a little late because I haven't felt good enough to really read the posts until now. I remember reading that to keep food from sticking, preheat the pan, with or without oil. Another idea if you can't find nonstick foil is to use regular foil and spray it with Pam. At least with foil and Pam your pan shouldn't get that baked on grease.

Thanks, but regular foil with Pam really doesn't work either. I think it's the baked on grease that makes it non stick!
