What's wierd....is when we go to Red Lobster .... Tina will order a lobster. and say, "Oh I want Lobster...ummmmm!!!
Then when they serve it, she eats like two fork pinches of the succulent meat, dipped in melted butter, and then says...."Oh...No more, I'm getting sick just chewing it!" ..... I'm like.."Send it right over to me dear!"

My Mom would send her husband to the store after 10pm to get marked down donuts. To eat with fried chicken... Shocked Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Rolling Eyes No

Did you read what the cake was made out of?

cornbread cake, mashed potato frosting, brown gravy drizzle topped with fried chicken. I thought it was really clever. I doubt that it would taste very good but it looked like a fun project.

How can you go wrong with crispy bread cubes and nuts of any kind? Bet pecans would be good, too....or walnuts. (I only say that because I rarely have hazelnuts in the freezer.)

We're having the leftover half of the chicken enchilada casserole.  Not lobster....((sigh))

But at least it's something we both like.

Dane's all excited because he's getting a new phone later this afternoon. His is OLD (it was his old work phone....). The young man at the store checked our bill and came up with a new plan that is cheaper so he'll get a new, more powerful phone AND a tablet and it will only add $11/month to my bill. I figured it would be way more than that. If he gets a tablet maybe (hopefully) he will stay off my pc and stop messin' it up all the time. I swear, he's the download king. He just can't resist.

I was going to make that crispy skinned chicken today but I got half a block and decided it was to icy to go anywhere. I barely made it around the block to get back home. Later Cassie called from work and asked if I wanted anything from the store. I told her what I wanted and she brought home most of the stuff except they didn't have any chicken breasts with the skin on so I used what she brought and winged it. I made the chicken without skin and added some vodka sauce and pasta.

Love when there's an 'unexpected' guest arriving to critique your meal.......LOL

Sounds good, Norm. Good call on postponing the crispy chicken. You can make it anytime. Stay safe in the house and use up what's in the freezer.

I think it will be a chicken enchilada casserole tonight. I have run out of ideas for dinners.

I just got an email from Bloomingdale's about a home sale. What a joke. Don't you just love it when a store puts an item on sale and their sale price is the same as everyone's regular price. A fool and their money soon part.

I have to go to the store today so I think I am going to find a package of the new flavored Oreos: cinnamon roll. I think my DH will love them.

those look good Barbara... I'll try next time, the other day I just rubbed them with my Cajun seasoning, Dirk did a good job in grilling them

Tina threw a pork loins in the toaster oven, with onions and carrots and potatoes.

A little dry, but tasty. Had that with apple sauce. No dessert..... yet!
