I would really really like to have a paper towel holder that you could tear off one sheet with one hand.. Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad

I have 3 of them and when you jerk off a towel you get half a roll...... VENT.....VENT... 1562938848

Mine does a good job of holding so I get one sheet.

They make a stainless ratcheting paper towel holder that is supposed to allow you to use one hand. Or, at least they used to.

We had one that the roll sat on the counter like a carousel.
It worked for a few days, then it broke. I hated that thing.
We have the good ole hang it under the cabinet kind now, but even trying to tighten the roll by bending the holders in or out, it still either tears too early, or you wind up pulling too much off, or the worst, the tissue tears off in little pieces because the roll is too tight.

I know there is an electric one, that you place your hand near, and it rolls off one or as much sheets as long as the hand is held there. ... talking big buck$$$ though.

Have not found one that you can pull one sheet.PIA. Sometimes the whole roll pops off right in the sink. I have to hold the left side of the roll to tear off one sheet.

LOOK at this one. Hmmmm??
I like that it retracts what is hanging out.
I didn't read any reviews yet, but I would love to try one.

BTW.... I HATE when the roll gets wet from someone touching it with wet hands. Worse....the toilet tissue. I will not use the tissue that is on the holder. I have my own roll hidden away from wet hands. Twisted Evil

Yeah! .... I'll stick to the roll of towels on a stick instead of paying that much.

Remember the old big real towel holder in the public restrooms?
The ones that you would keep unrolling till a new clean spot came out.
They were real cloth towels.... Talk about un-sanitary.
And the bar of soap on the sinks. All scuzzy and gooey. lol!

Bugs... that last one you listed the site direct, is the one we had.
The problem was, everyone would put their wet drippy hands on the top knob, and drip all the whatever was on their hands, all over the roll of towels.
What I did, is I took a round 8 inch plastic top from a tupperware container, and I cut a hole in the middle tight enough to cover the roll of towels. That saved the roll from getting wet.
Tina said it looked like a roll of towels in a auto repair shop. hahahahahaha

Oh! I did bring home a brand new paper towel holder, all chrome, from an office building that the building tech gave me. I mounted that, and filled it with the folded light brown unbleached paper towels. Tina said,"NO NO....get that G D thing out of here!" "That thing belongs in a roadside rest stop, and not in my D House!"

I said, "But it's brand new, and has a lock with a key to open it!"
I thought it was unique! Tina almost cried!.
