I had some leeks I wanted to play around with. Caramelized them in a very little bit of butter, then, just before supper I reheated them and added about 2 Tbsp. of heavy cream and the same of half & half. Turned into a wonderfully tasty cream sauce to spoon over my grilled chicken and sauted snow peas. I mashed the second half of the butternut squash I baked last week as my 'starch'.

But I wouldn't have pushed my plate away even not knowing what it was for sure ~ looks good enough to eat! LOL
